Riverside Library in Derby: Digital access and changing needs

Join us for our Libraries and Information East Midlands tour of Riverside library in Derby city centre. Riverside library was established in 2018 and forms part of Council House building. It's a busy city centre library, with high demand for internet access and enquiries. The library has a lending library and a children's library, and run events such as literacy classes and job clubs to support users.

The event includes a tour of the library and a talk on the changing needs of the users and their digital access requirements, and how the service has evolved to support this.

You'll need to log in as a visitor when you arrive, please make sure to allow time for this (we will be around to help you sign in).

This is part of a day event including a tour of a public library and a hospital library - if you'd like to join us for both please make sure to book a place on both events.
Please note: this event is open to members and non-members, though is specifically targeted to people who work in libraries.
