Right Whale Fest Sunset Beach Yoga πππ§ββοΈπ
The Right Whale Festival celebrates the annual return of endangered North Atlantic right whales to the warm coastal waters off northeast Florida and Georgia, where they give birth to and nurse their young. With fewer than 380 remaining, the festival brings our community together to raise awareness about these incredible whales, the threats they face, and the ways we can help support their recovery.
Throughout the day, enjoy ocean-themed activities, educational exhibits, environmentally responsible vendors and adventures, and opportunities to learn more about the work being done to protect North Atlantic right whales from extinction. Festival admission is free, so come early and spend the day!
Then, at 5:00 p.m., meet us on the sand for an easy, all-levels sunset yoga flow led by Saven Morris of Centred on Yoga. Whether youβre brand new to yoga or have an established practice, everyone is welcome. Weβll move, breathe, and take in the beauty of the ocean as we close out the first day of the festival together.
Yoga registration is free, with optional donations benefiting the Right Whale Festival.
Please bring:
β’ A yoga mat youβre comfortable using directly on the beach
β’ Plenty of water
β’ Comfortable clothes you can move in
Come for the festival, stay for sunset, and help us celebrate and protect the whales that make our coastline part of their incredible journey each year.
