RIBA NW Student Architecture Awards
About this Event
We will celebrate the work and efforts of award-winning students our North West schools of architecture. The awards celebratory event will be taking place on Friday 17th July, at the Dalton Building, Manchester Metropolitan University.
The Dalton Building, RIBA North West Building of the Year 2026, is recognised for its strong civic presence and clear, adaptable internal spaces. Serving as both an academic hub and city-facing landmark, it connects institution and urban context in a welcoming and legible way.
Its design centres on a fluid sequence of interconnected spaces that encourage interaction and movement, supported by a calm material palette and efficient environmental strategy creating a building that is both technically robust and spatially generous.
The evening will consist of an awards presentation ceremony with categories to showcase the innovative student work across the region, followed by celebratory nibbles and drinks.
This event will be the perfect opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our future architects.
