Rhapsody: Adult Piano Players Open Recital

Please join us on Saturday April 5th from 2:00-5:00 pm as we welcome Rhapsody Piano Group to M. Steinert & Sons in Newton for their monthly meeting and open recital.

Performance will include music by J.S.Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and other composers.

Rhapsody is a group of devoted amateur classical pianists, created more than 15 years ago. It unites people of various professions who are serious in their pursuit of piano practice and performance. The group meets once a month at members homes for a private recital, where they play for each other, exchange ideas about practicing, share their knowledge and love for classical music. The meeting is followed by light refreshments.

This time at M. Steinert & Sons beautiful showroom there is A FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC meeting and recital. The group ENCOURAGES new people to join Rhapsody if they want a place to share their interest in classical piano and chamber music.

Rhapsody members will perform on a 9’ Steinway concert grand – the iconic piano used by over 90% of concert artists on stages around the world. The meeting will include demonstration and discussion of STEINWAY SPIRIO technology. It will be held on the second floor of the Newton Showroom (SORRY, NO ELEVATOR ACCESS). Seating is limited to 70 persons.
