Join the Allegany Museum as we kick off our commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution!
Our first program features Champ Zumbrun—historian, professional forester, musician, songwriter, and author of numerous books and articles on forestry, conservation, and history. Champ is the co-author of Cresap's Rifles and the visionary behind the Liberty Tree Trail, which connects 15 living descendants of Revolutionary-era Liberty Trees planted on public lands throughout Allegany County.
Discover the important role Allegany County and Western Maryland played in the story of America's founding as Champ shares fascinating insights into the Revolutionary era and the people who shaped our region's history.
Enjoy an evening of local history, conversation, and refreshments in the Allegany Museum Ballroom.
