Restorative Yoga with Essential Oils

Once in a while, it is simply nice to sit back for an afternoon and focus on relaxing. Join us for a restorative workshopwhere supported yoga poses combined with essential oils will guide you into a deeper state of relaxation.When the body and mind are relaxed, healing begins.

According to the Mayo Clinic, benefits of relaxation include:• Slowing heart rate and breathing rate• Lowering blood pressure• Improving digestion• Maintaining normal blood sugar levels• Reducing activity of stress hormones• Increasing blood flow to major muscles• Reducing muscle tension and chronic pain• Improving concentration and mood• Improving sleep quality• Lowering fatigue• Reducing anger and frustration• Boosting confidence to handle problems

We invite you to join us for this special event where students will be led through a series of restorative yoga postures using props to encourage maximum healing, relaxation, and rejuvenation. A relaxation response in the nervous system supports the body’s natural ability to heal and repair.

📍 This class will be offered in person. Be sure to sign up in advance and don’t miss this opportunity!

Students are welcome to bring their own props:• Yoga mat• Two sturdy yoga blocks• Two blankets• One bolster• Neck pillow (optional)

Many people suffer from occasional or chronic back pain. The reason may be lifestyle, posture, or weakening of muscles — sometimes it’s simply a weak core.

In this workshop, all of those concerns will be addressed. Students will learn about common causes of back pain, including:• Scoliosis• Slipped disc• Sacroiliac (SI) dysfunction

You’ll practice yoga poses specifically designed to support the back, and learn helpful breathing and relaxation techniques. We’ll also introduce essential oils that assist with pain relief.
