Responsible AI Governance Sprint (Cohort)
About this Event
Most organisations have an AI policy gap. The honest ones admit the gap is six documents wide.
The Responsible AI Governance Sprint closes it in two half-days, one week apart. You draft the actual instruments policy, register, risk assessments, oversight design, incident procedure and a board one-pager in a small cohort of governance peers, with a week between sessions to test drafts against your organisation's reality.
Who this is for:
Governance, risk, privacy and operations leads accountable for AI use in WA organisations.
What you will do:
- Governance Mandate and RACI establish who is accountable, consulted and informed, in writing.
- AI Inventory and Use Register build your register structure and enter your first real uses.
- Risk and Impact Assessment complete two structured risk assessments on your own use cases.
- Controls and Human Oversight Design design the controls and human checkpoints that make the register honest.
- Incident, Change and Vendor Management draft the procedure for when something goes wrong or changes.
- Assurance Reporting Without Overclaiming produce a board one-pager that states what is evidenced, not what is hoped.
What you will leave with:
An AI policy, an AI use register, two completed risk assessments, a human-oversight design, an incident procedure and a board one-pager.
Prerequisites and exclusions:
GOV-301, or an active governance role with an organisational sponsor. Drafting uses your organisational context described at a non-confidential level; the sprint is professional development and does not constitute legal advice, an audit or a conformity assessment.
