Join is for the next Repair Café Lambeth at We Are 336, 336 Brixton Road on the first Saturday of the month at 10am!
Repair Cafe Lambeth is the place to bring broken belongings in need of mending!
No need to book, you will be seen depending on the availability of volunteers. Because you may need to wait for a repairer to be available, you are advised to come not later than 12:00.
Our team of volunteer fixers will share their specialist skills and tools to help you restore items brought from home. Enjoy a refreshment of coffee or tea (and CAKE!) while you learn basic repair skills and save your stuff from landfill.
Our expert fixers are experienced in mending house hold electrical goods, computers, textiles including clothes and toys, and much more!
You are welcome to bring anything that you can carry on your own from home and we will try and save it from landfill.
Advice and help from Repair Cafe Lambeth is free to all! A voluntary donation from visitors to Repair Café Lambeth is appreciated, which will support our initiative and allow us to host future events.
We aim to create a collaborative space for visitors and volunteers. Visitors are encouraged to remain with the repairer and witness what is being done/ learn and pick up skills and try the mend for themselves if applicable.
