Join us for the Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow & Indigenous Art Show, a welcoming community celebration open to all, with admission by donation.
This authentic Native American gathering features traditional dancing, drumming, and singing, along with vendor demonstrations, handcrafted arts and crafts, and Native American cuisine. Visitors are invited to experience Indigenous culture, traditions, and community in a family-friendly, alcohol-free, and drug-free environment.
Alongside the powwow, explore the Indigenous Art Show, featuring works by Indigenous artists from Northern Michigan and beyond. The exhibit highlights a variety of artistic styles, cultural perspectives, and creative traditions while providing opportunities for learning, appreciation, and connection.
