WHAT IS RESTORATIVE YOGA:
Type of yoga known for its relaxing, calming and healing effect. It is practised with the aid of props to avoid any strain or pain, allowing the body to completely relax, rest and restore.
WHAT IS YOGA NIDRA:
Yoga nidra is an ancient practise also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness. It is a state of consciousness between being awake and sleeping. Yoga nidra is practised from a comfortable resting position and it is an efficient method of inducing complete physical, emotional and mental relaxation while maintaining consciousness leading you into a deeply receptive state of mind, which offers you the opportunity to let go of worries and to create a positive change in your life.
WHAT IS SOUND HEALING:
Sound has been used for 1000s of years in many cultures as a tool for healing and relaxation. Sound healing is also known as vibrational medicine. Our bodies contain 'energy frequencies' and when these go off key, the sonic frequencies can re-attune them. I use various sacred instruments, including Tibetan singing bowls, Shamanic drum, rain stick, chimes, tuning forks, crystal pyramid...
WHAT TO BRING:
- Yoga Mat (if you don't have one, please let me know)
- Warm Blanket to keep you cosy, and you may also want to have a cushion
- Bottle of water
