Regional Forum with Hon. Louise Upston: Workforce Pathways & ChamberWorks
About this Event
Join us for a valuable regional forum bringing together local employers, Chamber members, MSD representatives, and Hon. Louise Upston to explore how we can strengthen employment outcomes across our region.
This event forms part of the national ChamberWorks programme - a partnership between Chambers and the Ministry of Social Development designed to connect employers with jobseekers and support better employment outcomes across New Zealand.
This session provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from the Minister on the direction of the initiative, while contributing to the conversation on how regional employer engagement can shape its success.
Through practical discussion and shared insights, we’ll explore local workforce priorities, identify opportunities and barriers facing employers, and highlight how Chambers and MSD can work together to connect businesses with talent.
This is a highly interactive, employer-focused session designed to deliver real outcomes - including clear pathways for businesses to engage with ChamberWorks and connect with MSD regional teams.
