Reflective Walks
These walks are opportunities to pause, reflect and share our bereavements and we encourage you to bring all the complicated feelings that we often hide from others. We will support you to explore and think about grief in a different way through a series of ‘invitations’ or gentle activities. There will be regular opportunities to share, but never any pressure to; grief is no single thing and neither are the emotions we experience through bereavement.
What can you expect?
The walks are based on the practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing) and you will be encouraged to engage with the nature with all of your senses. During the walks, facilitators will lead the group firstly through the green spaces of Waterlow Park and then into Highgate Cemetery.
