Join us and The Green Thimble for an informative workshop where you learn what it takes to sustainably recycle your textiles!
About this Event

Join The Green Thimble for a short, inspiring talk at Ecologyst about what we do, the history of textile recycling in our business, and simple, practical ways you can reduce textile waste. We’ll share how our classes and services support sustainability through sewing, mending, and reusing textiles in creative ways.

After the talk, we’ll host a Textile Recycling Drop-Off. Bring your unwanted fabrics and textiles to be responsibly recycled for $3 per pound. This fee helps cover The Green Thimble’s shipping costs to Debrand in the Lower Mainland, where materials are carefully sorted and processed to be transformed into new textiles.

This event capacity is capped at 13 people.

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience so we can confirm numbers. You will be contacted the Monday before the event to confirm your attendance. Please make sure you cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.

By RSVPing to this event, you will automatically be enrolled in our marketing emails. You may opt out anytime.
