1) Paper Shredding - For residential use, not intended for businesses or medical offices. Bring up to six copier-sized boxes of paper per vehicle. If you have more, you may reenter the line. Bring documents in bags (preferably not plastic) or boxes. Stay in car, volunteers will retrieve.
BRING: Tax papers, bills, receipts, statements, and documents that contain personal, financial and/or yours or a family member's medical information.
PREPARATION: Remove paper clips, binder clips, wire spines, etc. No need to remove staples or elastic bands.
DO NOT BRING: Shredded paper, newspapers/magazines, notebooks, plastic folders, junk mail, and non-confidential papers (put these in regular recycling). Medical practitioners should NOT use this service to dispose of patient records.
The secure, on-site paper shredding is handled by Affordable Solutions, owned by Orange's Joe Johnston, and generously funded by the Rotary Club of Orange. Residents may donate to the Orange Rotary Scholarship Fund. Rotarians will be there to collect donations.

2) The Mattress Recycling Council’s “Bye Bye Mattress” program collects used mattresses and box springs of any size.
BRING: Mattresses and box springs. If needed, Orange Lions Club members can pick them up from your home. For details, contact Ken Lenz at 203‑795‑3906. A $15 donation per item (cash or check to Orange Lions Charities) is requested.
DO NOT BRING: Mattresses from futons/sofa beds or waterbeds; mattresses with bed bugs; wet, damaged or excessively soiled mattresses; and sleeping bags or mattress pads/toppers.

3) Electronics Recycling - The company that collects these items from the Orange Transfer Station & Recycling Center will be on-hand to collect items at the event.
BRING: Old cell phones, tablets, computers/laptops, monitors, cables & wires, routers, TVs, VCRs, CD/DVD players.
ALTERNATIVE: You can dispose of these items at the Orange Transfer Station & Recycling Center.

4) Hazardous Household Waste Drop-off: Residents drive to the designated area and Regional Water Authority HazWaste Central employees will collect items from vehicles.
BRING: Household chemicals, cleaners, auto fluids and more. See full list at https://www.orangerecycles.com/paper-shred-mattress-recycle.
DO NOT BRING: Auto batteries, asbestos, propane tanks, medicines, fire extinguishers, or electronics.

5) Clothing, Household Items, Toys and More - at the Pavilion. Orange Community Women will collect: clothing, shoes, accessories, sheets, blankets, curtains, towels, toys, dishes, small appliances, sporting goods, household décor, etc. The
Buy Nothing Orange group will host a swap meet at the pavilion. Remaining items get donated to the Women.
BRING: Clothing, shoes, purses, accessories; blankets, curtains, sheets, towels and other household textiles; housewares, dishes, small appliances, home decor; toys, sporting goods, stuffed animals, books, DVDs, CDs.
DO NOT BRING: Very large items.
