HEAR YE, HEAR YE!In celebration of our nation’s 250 Anniversary, the Orange Historical Society is presenting three revolutionary-era events suitable for all ages.
Our first event is on Saturday, April 25, 2026 we are hosting Tom Angels, vexillologist and Revolutionary War reenactor with the Fifth Connecticut Regiment. Mr Angels is a living history reenactor, taking visitors on a time travel adventure to the roots of our colonial ancestors and the birth of our country. There will be a presentation on Colonial flags, their origins, colors and symbolism, describing what they meant to the people of the times. He will have a show and tell artifact table where adults and children can actually hold the items, feel them and hear about them to connect with history. See some of the items that a revolutionary war soldier from Connecticut would have to carry in his service in the field, while in the army.
Tickets are only $5 for each person over 5 years of age. We have limited spots, be sure to register soon!
