Transform discarded stained glass into a stunning masterpiece in this recycled stained glass window workshop! If you love creating, learning something new, and supporting sustainability in your art, then this workshop is for you!
Guided by artist/instructor Julie Zetina, participants will use alternative methods and pre-cut glass to arrange a unique abstract composition. A user-friendly method of creating will be implemented- no leading, soldering, or foiling will be used in this class; making it perfect for beginners! Grout work will be done off-site by Julie and returned to SMAC for pick up at a later date TBA/
A fundamental component of this class is using repurposed/recycled items, please be aware that substrate sizes will vary. Most windows will be approximately 8”x10” with some being slightly larger or smaller.
NOTE: Participant’s results will vary from the example shown. This class is geared toward open-ended outcomes for each individual artist.
The fee for this workshop is $60 and includes all materials, instruction, grouting services, and hanging hardware.

Julie Zetina has guided people of all ages and abilities through various art experiences for over 36 years. Teaching, sharing and art making are her passions. She is most comfortable in life with a piece of clay in her hands or giving new purpose to broken objects through recycled mediums like mosaic.
