Recycled Craft Workshops - 循环再造手工艺讲座

Come to join us for a fun morning of recycled craft. Craft teacher Linda Liu will show her superb handcraft skills to make cool things out of recycled materials. You will learn how to recycle your greeting cards, make origami flowers and birds from recycled paper, and construct a paper house for birds by recycled cardboard.

Date:

1. Tuesday 1 October 2024 - recycle greeting cards and make origami flowers & birds
2. Tuesday 8 October 2024 - make origami birds and construct a birds house

Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm

Venue: Hurstville Library

Cost: Free

Age: Ages 5+ and families, no experience required.

Materials: please bring along your old greeting cards, some recycled paper, and a cardboard such as a breakfast cereals package or a delivery cardboard box. We will provide some recycled colour paper onsite in the workshops.

Terms and conditions:

For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.
