Brush Turkey Books Wingham is proud to be an official Record Store Day retailer and will be stocking some exclusive releases for sale on the day, as well as live music in store and collaborating with our local Vinyl themed cafe "Side B Cafe" who will be hosting a second hand Vinyl Stall. Record Store Day (RSD) is a global event held on the third Saturday of April annually, across the globe including the United Kingdom, United States, Mexico, Australia, Japan and across Europe.
It is a day for the people who make up the world of the independent record stores whereby customers and artists come together to celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities.
Record Store Day Australia’s goal is to elevate and promote the contemporary music community and support Australian independent record stores, labels and artists with a hope to reach a broader audience and grow the event each year.
