Following a sold-out event with Sarah Green last year, we have invited her back to further explore the research underpinning the successful teaching of fluent reading, how reading impacts on oracy, spelling, vocabulary and comprehension development. The session will provide a wealth of practical strategies and inclusive reading practices which can be woven into KS2 reading lessons.
About Sarah Green:
Sarah is a former Literacy Content Specialist for the Education Endowment Foundation and continues to work with them and their Research School Network. Alongside this national role, Sarah is Trust Director for Literacy working across mainstream and special secondary schools within Prospere Learning Trust in
Manchester. She is a Voice21 National Oracy Leader, an Evidence Lead in Education, and a Teacher Development Trust Associate. In addition to this, Sarah works as an independent educational consultant, The Literacy Coach, providing keynote speaking, training, leadership coaching and literacy reviews for schools and trusts in the UK and internationally.
