Raptors: Behaviors and Nicknames

This event is free and does not require pre-registration. Check in at the Visitor Center at 1700 Elkhorn Road when you arrive! All birding levels are welcome and binoculars are available to borrow!

Learn the field marks, typical behaviors, common terms, some fun nicknames, and maybe a call or two to help you remember the raptors of the Elkhorn Slough. We will be hiking the five fingers loop starting at 10 AM including the Parsons Slough off-shoot - a total of 1.7 miles ending by 12 PM.
