AI is already changing how children learn, search and complete schoolwork. The question is no longer simply whether they should use it, but how they learn to think, question and make good decisions even when AI is available.

And AI is only one part of a future that is becoming harder to predict.

Your child may eventually study locally, overseas, or take a path that looks very different from what we expect today.

While you do not need to decide that now, you can start preparing for two things that give them more options later: the judgement to navigate new technology, and the financial flexibility to choose the education path that suits them.

That is why this session covers both sides: An AI education practitioner will unpack how children can use AI without outsourcing their thinking, while a financial representative will help parents understand the education options they may want to prepare for financially.

Co-Founder, Empire AI

Felicia Chua co-founded Empire AI (formerly Empire Code) in 2016 and has since reached around 20,000 children through its AI, coding and robotics programmes, with campuses in Novena and River Valley for ages 4 to 19. She is not from a tech background: she trained as an accountant, started in tax at Deloitte and spent over a decade in banking across Singapore and London before building the school. In 2026 Empire AI was one of just over 100 organisations from 53 countries selected for CodeAI's International Facilitator Training Programme. She speaks regularly to parents on raising AI-ready children.

Carine has been in the financial planning industry since 2011, bringing more than 15 years of experience helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their financial future. As a second-generation financial planner, financial planning has been part of Carine's life for more than four decades. Today, Carine works with families, professionals and business owners to build financial strategies around protection, wealth accumulation, retirement and legacy planning.
