About this Event
What could a queer future look like?
Join us for a playful, creative workshop exploring queer world building through the archive. We’ll take inspiration from personal collections, photographs, printed materials and archival objects from Kresen Kernow, using them as starting points to imagine new queer worlds, communities and futures.
Through collage, printmaking and gelli printing, we’ll cut, layer, remix and reimagine archival material to create our own visions of queer utopias. We’ll think about what we want to carry forward from the past, what we might want to leave behind, and what kinds of joyful, hopeful futures we can imagine together.
This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop with no previous experience of art, collage or printmaking needed. Come along, get stuck in, experiment and make something weird, joyful and completely your own.
The workshop is part of an ongoing series of free queer joy and craft workshops, supported by FEAST funding.

There will be a lunch break during the day, with biscuits and a selection of teas available throughout.
All materials will be provided, including everything you need for collage and printing.
The workshop is open to people of all backgrounds and experiences. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist or have any previous creative experience. Just bring yourself and your imagination.
