Join Rainbow Mind Greater Manchester for a moment of calm, connection, and community 🌈

Thanks to funding from the Marcus Movers campaign, we’re delivering a series of free mindful walks across Manchester designed to support LGBTQIA+ mental wellbeing through movement, nature, and shared space.

Move with Pride Mindful Walk

Join us for a Colour Trail with Rainbow Mind Greater Manchester. You can use your phone or bring along your camera.This walk offers a creative and mindful way to connect with nature, yourself, and others by taking in your surroundings.

This 1-hour group walk will create a safe space for LGBTQIA+ people to come together to connect with each other in nature and move mindfully.

Date: Saturday 4th July

Time: 12.30 - 1.30 pm - everyone is welcome to join for a coffee afterwards (optional) until 2:30pm.

Location: TBC

Meeting Point: To be announced closer to the date - keep an eye out for an email from Mind in Salford.

Level: Gentle-moderate walk

Accesibility : The walk is fairly accessible and will involve using pavements and a gentle slow walk around a park(mostly flat ground with some bumps).

We want everyone to be able to take part. If travel costs are a barrier, you’re welcome to claim back your public transport travel expenses for attending this session. Just keep your receipts and let our team know.

Things to note when participating in the walk:

- We understand that our identities and lives change and evolve and there is no need to feel you have to be a certain way, or fit a certain box.

- All parts of you are welcome.

- Our team are experienced in creating safe spaces for people who are LGBTQIA+.

- All activities within the session are invitational, go at your own pace and participate as much as feels right for you.
