Queer Theatre Walk & Talk spring hike to Leith Hill. This is a social, supportive walk for LGBTQIA+ theatre people, allies and friends.
About this Event

A full, feel-good day out with your queer community and allies in the Surrey Hills. We’ll be hiking from Holmwood Station straight into woodland and countryside, climbing up to Leith Hill for one of the most rewarding viewpoints in the South East, then looping back through forests, quiet lanes and rolling hills to finish where we started. This is a social, supportive hike for LGBTQIA+ theatre people (and friends). Chatty pace, breaks, and a brilliant boost for your mental and physical health.

Highlights

Deep woodland trails: Tall pines and broadleaf forest, birdsong, earthy paths, and that “green cathedral” feeling that makes the whole world quieten down.

Surrey Hills heath and ridgelines: Open stretches where the sky suddenly feels massive, with that classic Surrey Hills mix of bracken, heath and sandy tracks.

Leith Hill summit viewpoint: The big payoff. We’ll climb to Leith Hill for wide, sweeping views across the Surrey Hills (and beyond on a clear day).

Classic English countryside: Farm tracks, hidden lanes, gates and stiles, and proper “we’ve escaped London” energy, without needing a car.
