Queer & Move

A weekly movement space for queer bodies to move, rest, breathe, play, and simply be, free from judgment, expectation, or performance. Each session is guided by the needs and rhythms of the bodies present.

Drawing from Mitakara (Japanese ancient shamanic practice), Butoh, and somatic tools, we tune into the subtle states of our bodies to release tension, listen inward, and rediscover ease and joy through movement. The sessions are shaped in relation to current astrological dynamics, primarily the cycles of the moon and sun, supporting sensitivity, rhythm, and collective attunement.

We begin each gathering with a short opening circle to share our names, pronouns, and personal boundaries for the session, especially around touch and proximity.
Come with comfortable clothes, water bottle and warm socks.
