Queen City Queer History Tour 2

Join us for a fun and informative Queer History Tour in Lytle Park! This in-person event will take you on a journey through the vibrant LGBTQ+ history of our city. Learn about important figures, landmarks, and events that have shaped the queer community in Queen City. Whether you're a history buff or just curious, this tour is a great way to celebrate and honor our LGBTQ+ heritage. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with the past and each other!

Starting Point: Lytle Park (500 East Fourth Street).

Over the course of 1.8 miles and approximately 1.5 hours, we’ll visit 9 landmark stops that trace queer life in the Queen City from the 19th century through the post-Stonewall era. From elegant hotels once frequented by closeted elites to gritty alleys that throbbed with disco beats and rebellion, this tour brings to life the people and places that shaped LGBTQ+ culture in Cincinnati—whether they were creating sanctuary or sparking activism.

Stops include iconic sites such as:

Keyhole Bar at the Gibson Hotel

The Alley Cat

Simon Says

Spurs Leather Bar

& so many more!
