Midwest BSFA's Juke Joint

The Midwest Black Speculative Fiction Alliance is hosting a Sinners-style juke joint for BIPOC Vamp Day weekend from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the National Commission for Black Arts & Entertainment in Over-the-Rhine!

This is your chance to party for a good cause with all of the cosplayers, horror buffs, and history nerds (and even the everyday scaredy cats) who enjoyed Ryan Coogler's vampire masterpiece. Imagine it: A 1930s-style dress code, DJ Apryl Reign on the 1s and 2s, food by Alabama Fishbar*, and maybe a special guest or two. 😈😈😈 And half of the proceeds from ticket sales to Cincinnati Sickle Cell Alliance Foundation.
