Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is an ancient energy medicine practice similar to yoga employing slow, meditative movements and breathwork. It has been practiced for millennia by the diverse populations of East Asia: Shaolin monks, Daoist sages, and common people, young and old, in communities everywhere. Today, these smooth, flowing exercises are growing in popularity as even modern science is beginning to realize its profound effects on physical healing, but even more powerfully, on treating conditions like depression, anxiety, and mental health disorders. Join Erik to practice Qigong movements and feel the difference in your health.

Founded in 1985, the Community Services Center is a non-profit organization committed to supporting Taiwan's international and third-culture community in navigating the emotional, cultural, and practical adjustments of life in Taiwan through counseling, education, and community resources. As a licensed mental health counseling center, we provide professional counseling services in both English and Chinese. Beyond counseling, we offer a variety of programs and events, including cooking classes, Chinese language courses, tours, and cultural workshops—all designed to help you feel at home in Taiwan.
