Potomac Valley Audubon Society welcomes Jesse Melton, Dark Sky Advocate with Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Dark Sky!Join us for an engaging and informative presentation about light pollution and its impact on wildlife, our health, and the environment. This presentation will cover the basics of light pollution, how it can be controlled, and actionable steps you can take to reduce its effects—starting at home and expanding to your community.
The session will conclude with an open-format Q&A, so bring your questions! Our presenter is a Dark Sky Advocate with Bolivar-Harpers Ferry DarkSky, a passionate volunteer group dedicated to protecting the night skies in Bolivar and Harpers Ferry, WV.
