Batik Butterfly Wings Workshop (2 mid-week sessions 4/2 & 4/4)
Unleash your creativity and craft your own stunning batik butterfly wings in this immersive two-day workshop! All supplies included.
Ages 8+. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults don't have to pay for class for themselves unless they want to make a costume as well!
Schedule
- Day 1 (4/2): You’ll begin by shaping a wire frame, designing your butterfly pattern with wax on fabric, and painting your vibrant creation.
- Day 2 (4/4): You’ll complete your wings by attaching the batik fabric to the frame and adding comfortable straps so you can wear them with ease.
We offer both child and adult-size frame templates. Recommended for ages 8 and up—adults can create wings for themselves or make a smaller pair for a child. No prior experience is needed—just bring your imagination!
