Print Your Own Gift Bags: Relief Printmaking Workshop
About this Event
This guided session carves out an evening of your time to sit and create something special, without leaving it to the last minute. It doubles as a relaxed social event, allowing you to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit.
What is relief printing? This term refers to any kind of printmaking where you carve/cut away pieces of a material to create a stamp for printing. This covers mediums such as lino printing, and wood-block printing.
In this workshop, we will be creating our own foam stamps, to print onto paper gift bags. With a range of sizes available, you will be able to create a set of gift bags which can be used to gift your loved ones this holiday season. There will be a range of drawing materials and bits to embellish your printed bags at the end.
Hudo Lounge has a wide variety of food and drink available to purchase at the venue. There is time dedicated to the beginning of the event to place any orders, but as this is a guided workshop, I would recommend keeping to drinks and smaller snacks to get the most out of the event. Feel free to visit early if you'd like to order something larger.
