* NEW * PRESCHOOL ADVENTURE at HONEYBEE CENTRE
Educating our community and beyond is something everyone at Honeybee Centre is passionate about. Since our first hive got busy (a long, long time ago), we’ve been offering interactive presentations and tours to share the magical world of bees with everyone we can.
Our Preschool Honeybee Field Trip has been designed especially for early learners. This program blends the best of Reggio and Montessori approaches — combining structured circle time with play-based learning through hands-on stations. Children are encouraged to explore, create, and discover while connecting with the world of honeybees.
This payment secures your date and covers:
- Flat rate program fee of $200 per group (up to 50 people, including children and adults)
- Exclusive use of the Honeybee Centre Social Space for 2 hours
- A bee-themed circle time to begin your visit
- Free play across multiple themed learning stations:
- • Sensory play• Playdough & creative play• Dress-up with beekeeper props• Science & discovery• Puzzles, books & games
- Honey tasting for all guests before goodbyes
Groups are welcome to bring parents, caregivers, and snacks. Room Max capasity is 50 people.
Our program is 2 hour in total.

Info: Please meet OUTSIDE the classroom (dress for the weather, there is no inside waiting space).
Instruction and get settled in the classroom.

CIRCLE TIME
Info: (10-15 minutes depending on the attention of the group). Interactive circle time that covers topics like bees, life-cycle, beekeeping, pollination, environmental stewardship. We can customize to suit your group.

EXPLORE TIME
Info: Children play and explore our honeybee classroom. Dress like a beekeeper or a bee! Puzzles, books, games, sensory play, drawing and science! You are welcome to have your snack during this time.

CLOSING
Info: Clean-up, Q&A, taste one type of honey and say goodbye!

VISIT THE SHOP (optional)
Info: Groups that wish to walk through the Gift Shop before they leave have the option to do so! Please note, this is a gift shop full of GLASS JARS! Children must be supervised by adults.
