About this Event
A 4-Week Series to Support Your Body, Mind, and Birth Experience
This thoughtfully designed four-week prenatal series is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and prepare - physically, mentally, and emotionally for birth. Each class weaves together nourishing prenatal yoga with practical doula wisdom, so you can feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way.
Together, we’ll strengthen your body, calm your nervous system, and explore tools you can return to again and again - during pregnancy, labor, and beyond.
In each class, you’ll explore:
- Yoga postures for alleviating common aches and pains in pregnancy and ideal positions for labor and delivery
- Breathwork techniques to support relaxation and stamina
- Pelvic floor awareness and functional strengthening
- Guided meditations to foster connection, trust, and ease
Class Structure
Each 90-minute session is intentionally divided into two parts:
- The first half focuses on prenatal yoga—mindful movement and breathwork designed to support your changing body and prepare you for labor.
- The second half centers on birth preparation, offering education, reflection, and conversation to help you feel informed, prepared, and empowered. You will receive supplemental handouts to for additional support.
Weekly Themes
Week One: Support
We begin by exploring support - before, during, and after birth. Through guided prompts and discussion, you’ll reflect on who you want alongside you throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period, and how to build a care team that truly meets your needs.
Week Two: Plan
This week is about understanding your options. You’ll learn about choices within the birth space so you can have informed, confident conversations with your partner and care provider. Together, we’ll look at how to set clear expectations and ensure your birth team is aligned with your values.
Week Three: Advocacy
Feeling seen, heard, and respected is essential to an empowering birth experience. This session focuses on self-advocacy and the role of a support person in safeguarding your choices. You’ll learn how to communicate your needs clearly and navigate the birth space with confidence and clarity.
Week Four: Comfort Measures
Partners and loved ones are warmly invited to join this final class. Together, you’ll learn hands-on comfort measures and support techniques for labor, so your support person feels confident, capable, and deeply involved in your birth experience.
