Coastal Tasting Experience: Local Oysters, Mussels, and Shrimp Tacos

Class Description: Dive into the flavors of the coast with this hands-on tasting class, showcasing the freshest local oysters, mussels, and shrimp transformed into mouthwatering dishes. You’ll begin by learning the art of shucking oysters, experiencing their briny sweetness paired with a variety of sauces and accompaniments. Then, explore the tender, succulent flavors of locally harvested mussels, prepared in a rich broth infused with herbs and wine.

The highlight of the class will be creating vibrant shrimp tacos, featuring perfectly seasoned, juicy shrimp wrapped in warm tortillas and topped with fresh salsas, crunchy slaw, and tangy citrus crema. As you savor each bite, the instructor will guide you through the techniques of preparing seafood to perfection, offering insights into sourcing sustainable, high-quality ingredients from local waters.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
