Premiere Class: Spain vs Italy Wine & Cheese Showdown, $150

Spain and Italy are two of Europe's most celebrated culinary nations, each with centuries of tradition, distinct regional identities, and passionate defenders of their own superiority. This class sets up a friendly rivalry, pairing cheeses from both countries side by side within shared categories — think aged sheep's milk versus aged cow's milk, or soft fresh cheeses versus firmer aged ones — and rounding out each pairing with a matching wine and a small bite or accompaniment, from cured meats and olives to nuts and preserves.

Along the way, we'll dig into what makes each country's approach distinct: the animals and landscapes behind the cheese, the winemaking traditions that shaped each region's glass, and the small-plate cultures that built the perfect bites to go alongside. There's no official winner here — just a fun, flavor-driven way to explore two of the world's richest culinary traditions and decide, plate by plate and pour by pour, where your own loyalties lie.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as wine, cheese and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a seated event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff ill check IDs at the door.

Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
