About this Event

Over the centuries, Alsace has alternated being part of both Germany and France, meaning that, although they are now part of France, they consider themselves Alsatian above all. Their wines reflect this storied past, and are a delightful mixture of both French and German styles. Alsace has a wide range of varietals and wine styles that, combined with the dry sunny weather and large variation in soil types, create wines that are uniquely Alsatian.
Join wine educator John Fiola as he explores the wide world of Alsatian wines, covering what they are, why they are hidden gems, and Alsatian wines are so food-friendly!
