Pottery Class - Whale Spoon Rest

Join us for a fun and creative pottery class where you’ll make your very own Whale Spoon Rest! This whimsical yet functional stoneware piece is perfect for keeping your kitchen counters and tables clean while adding a touch of handmade charm to your space.

Your instructor will provide a template for the overall whale shape, but the creative details are all up to you! Customize your whale with unique textures, expressive features, and personalized flippers to make it truly one of a kind. Once completed, your spoon rest will be glazed to your color specifications after the clay has dried and gone through its first firing.

This finished piece will be fully functional, food safe, and dishwasher safe — perfect for everyday use or gifting.

Please note: pottery is a multi-step process, and your finished creation will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–6 weeks. While we use best practices throughout the firing process, occasional kiln issues can occur as part of the nature of ceramics.
