Post-election movie + potluck

a new documentary, A Road Trip Across a Divided America by Joseph Sim, follows Joseph’s journey on a summer-long road trip across the United States that asks, “How did we lose connection with our neighbor, and more importantly, how do we get it back?”

After the movie and online Q & A (hosted by Braver Angels), we will break bread together and continue our discussions. I will be introducing two organizations working to address political and social depolarization:

• Collective Resilience, supporting place-based communitiy resilience
• Braver Angels (featured in the documentary), an organization uniting red and blue Americans in a working alliance to depolarize America.

This is a potluck! Please bring food and drinks to share. I will be making a soup.
