Discover the secrets of freeing your voice and playing your body instrument in this playful, heartfelt workshop with Phoenix Song.Learn healthy vocal techniques for singing, sounding, and speaking. You will leave with a solid understanding of both the technical/functional aspects of the voice as well as its emotional/energetic/psychological components so that you can free your voice and free your life.Some of the activities include: a chakra sound meditation, world songs, chanting, harmony, vocal improvisation, and play. This workshop is suitable for all levels and beginners are especially welcome, as are those with trauma around their voices. Everyone will free their voice and take it to the next level!

Learn how to build and tune your body instrument with breath support, proper posture, open throat, resonance, projection, and more. Next, play music on your instrument and sing songs from around the world. Connect with your intention and desire to express your heart/soul song. We will also come into alignment with our body instruments with a chakra sound and movement meditation and chant a powerful Sanskrit mantra with its vibratory resonance of compassion for all beings. We will end with an improvisational sound journey to release sounds and emotions to bring you to a state of bliss. You will leave this workshop both relaxed and energized, feeling more connected to yourself and others and to your voice and truth.

This workshop is for all people: total beginners, shy people, those with trauma around their voices, and experienced singers. Everyone will benefit.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.
