Deidre Nicole Green is Assistant Professor of Latter-day Saint/Mormon Studies at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. She is the author of "Works of Love in a World of Violence: Feminism, Kierkegaard, and the Limits of Self-Sacrifice" and "Jacob: A Brief Theological Introduction." With Eric Huntsman, she co-edited "Latter-day Saint Perspectives on Atonement." Deidre was recently awarded a Scholar-in-Residence fellowship from the Church History Library to carry out research for a forthcoming volume on Eliza R. Snow’s theological contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
