Samantha Sambrooke here - maybe you’ve heard, but I’m a part of the Dancing with the Stars fundraiser this year for Hospice PEI.The big event is October 25th at the Florence Simmons Hall.
My goal is to raise $5000 before the big show. To help get there, I’m offering 4 mini workshops. These 2 hour classes will be a mix of lecture/discussion and practice.
This one is called “Breath and Prana”. Here you will learn:
- What is Prana and how does this relate to Yoga?
- What’s the difference between breathing and pranayama?
- How and when to practice Pranayama
- Practices to continue exploring at home
Come prepared to move. Bring or borrow a Yoga mat if you have one. There is a limited supply in studio. All other props as well as chairs are available. These sessions are open to all!
I’m a Yoga Therapist specializing in Somatic Yoga and Yoga for Mental health. I also run the Maritime Yoga School on PEI.
