About this Event

Pond weeds in high densities, both native and invasive, can interfere with recreational fishing and swimming, crop irrigation, and livestock management. Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to help landowners and producers better understand and manage aquatic weeds in farm ponds.

Horticulture Agents Matt Jones and Dalton Suits will walk attendees through how to identify and classify common aquatic plants, discuss the role of beneficial native plants, and cover a range of management strategies including integrated pest management (IPM), herbicidal control, and biological methods.
