Led by knowledgeable City staff, this guided walk takes you on a tour through Mississauga's largest remnant tallgrass prairie and a vibrant pollinator garden. Come see firsthand what the City is doing to restore, protect, and expand these rare habitats for pollinators. You will learn all about our local pollinators and discover how planting native species in your own yard or balcony can help them thrive.

  • Location: Jack Darling Memorial Park. We will meet at the second parking lot when you enter the park. Look out for City staff!
  • What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle.
  • Admission: Free, but spaces are limited. Registration via Eventbrite is mandatory.
  • Weather: This event runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.
  • Note: Staff will be taking photos to document the walk for our community archives.
