Plant Day
Plant Day is back at the Lakeview Farmers' Market.
Come learn about native plant species, shop indoor plants, handmade ceramics, and artisan goods, and make your own seed bombs to take home and grow.
What to expect:
A seed-bomb workshop: roll soil, clay, and wildflower seeds into balls you can plant or gift
Local vendors selling plants and greenery
Educational booths from A Greener Future, Blooming Boulevards, and Peel Region Water Conservation
EcoSource sharing their new indoor and outdoor growing guides, available in five languages
Local artisan vendors with plant-related jewelry, books, and clay and crochet crafts
About the seed-bomb workshop:
Make 2 to 3 seed bombs to take home for planting or gifting, and pick up tips on storage, care, and watering. You'll also learn about sustainable gardening and why pollinators and green spaces matter. Hands-on and open to all ages. All materials included. Children under 14 to be accompanied by an adult.
Details:
