The Point of Jazz is a jazz collective led by graduates of the music department at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. This week the house band consists of Kadin Yach (p) Jessie Crandall (b) and Colt Maichle (d). Every Thursday the group plays at Stone Arch Brewpub in Appleton Wisconsin from 7:30-9:30PM. They play a one hour set featuring that week’s guest artist, then open the floor for community members to join in on their respective instruments. This week‘s featured artist is Michael Murphy.
Michael Murphy is a singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN. A home town hero, you won’t want to miss this electric performance!
