Join the Poetry Society of New Hampshire on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, from 4:30-6:00pm for an afternoon of poetry! Their headliner this month is the Yogurt Poets. An open mic follows their readings.
Yogurt Poets originated from a workshop with Wes NcNair in 1993. Wanting to continue working together, the original members began meeting at Concord’s Frozen Yogurt shop (thus the name) and have met monthly ever since.
The current Yogurt Poets includes 12 members who continue the tradition of providing feedback to each other on their poems. Those reading on July 15 to create a polyphony of poetic music include: Gail DiMaggio, Rob Hirschfeld, Hope Jordan, Kay Morgan, Laurie Morrissey, and Nancy Stewart.
