Poetry & Connection Night is a community gathering designed to bring together poets, writers, artists, and those drawn to creative expression in a space of listening, presence, and meaningful connection.

Hosted at Grounded Coffee Shop and Lorena Saavedra Smith, author of Awaken Your Roots, this open space invites participants to share their voice—through poetry, storytelling, or simply being present—while connecting with others through shared experience. Whether you come to read or to listen, the evening is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and accessible to all.

This is not about performance.
It is about expression, presence, and connection.
