About this Event

Welcome to Poet Next Door!
A Soul House event, bringing poetry to Squamish since 2022.Poetry is for everyone and everyone is a poet. This is the space to witness your neighbourhood talent and to discover you're a poet too.


As a powerful tool of self-expression, poems' topics vary from deeply personal to universal: joy, trauma, love, sexuality, humour, embarrassment, religion, politics and the full depth of the human mind and heart are explored at this event.

March's theme is: MOMENTUM


Tickets: $10-20 sliding scale.
If you cannot purchase a ticket due to financial circumstances, please reach out or use one of the free tickets. If you can afford it, please support us!

DOORS: 6:30pm
SHOW: 7:00pm


ACCESSIBILITY: The Brackendale Art Gallery is wheelchair accessible via the back parking lot (gravel). Please be prepared for loud music, and possibly sensitive topics.
No ASL interpreter is available at this time, but if you know someone that could volunteer this service, please let us know.
