About this Event
This event is all about participation!
Together, we’ll transform the space while learning simple, practical skills for planting and maintaining a wildflower bed. Along the way, we’ll share quick tips on plant selection, pollinators, and how to recreate something similar at home.
No prior experience is needed. The event is designed to be approachable, social, and engaging for everyone.
In addition to planting, there will be a sidewalk chalk activation area for creative input, plus snacks and drinks.
What you’ll do:
- Help plant a community wildflower garden
- Learn basic planting techniques and tips
- Contribute to a visible, community-built space
What’s provided:
- All tools and materials
- Snacks and drinks
- Take-home planting resources (and seeds!!)
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothing suitable for light outdoor work
