Pitch-A-Single-Friend: Squamish’s Most Fun Dating Night (28–45)

Welcome to Pitch-A-SIngle-Friend: a dating event where your friends do the talking for you.

🎤 Pitches: 5 minutes MAX (see below for format options)
🍻 Drinks, snacks + games available (full kitchen not open)

If you want to pitch a friend, you must email:

Include:

• First + last name of the person you’re pitching
• Age (must be between 28-38 years old)
• Format (talking, slideshow, powerpoint, music, etc.)

Spots are limited based on time — once we’re full, we’re full! You will recieve confirmation via email upon submission request.

Dating in Squamish can feel… limited. If you're not meeting someone on a trail, at the gym, or a few drinks in — where are you meeting people?

So we’re switching it up, BAG style: fun, inclusive, low pressure, and community oriented!

Yaaaaas, really. The homies are with you so even if you don't meet your match, at least you've got a good story to tell and a night out with friends to remember.

Your friends will pitch you (or you pitch them) however they want:
slideshows, stories, hype speeches… whatever feels authentic, let's hear it!

• Friends pitch their single friends (5 minutes max per pitch)
• Sit back, laugh, and see who catches your eye

No awkward number exchanges. No pressure.

After the pitches, we open it up for a social hang with drinks, food, games, and time to mingle with everyone.

And THEN if you're interested in someone:
→ Submit your name + contact info to the hosts before you leave (Les/Ian)
→ Les/Ian will pass your information on to the person you're interested in, if it’s mutual, they will connect with you within 24 hours

We want to make this a light evening without worrying about weird moments or awkawrd convos because we KNOW what it feels like to date in Squamish. Come on out, and hey, maybe you'll meet your match?

Leslie McNaughton
Your built-in hype woman and community connector behind The BAG. Les brings people together for a living and knows how to make a room feel fun, welcoming, and easy to walk into solo. When she’s not at the gallery, she’s hiking, kickboxing, teaching yoga, or out with her Aussie shepherd, Reef.

Ian Coll
Ian is a trauma-informed coach and founder of Nurtr Wellness, specializing in emotional intelligence, communication, and nervous system regulation. With 300+ hours of training and years of experience in men’s work and relationship coaching, he brings a grounded, real-world approach to connection. Outside of his work, he is a fun and laid back Squamster who has competed in HYROX (Hybrid Rockstar ;)), is always catching live music @ The BAG, and spending quality time with his wife and their 4 legged child, Rumi the husky.
